The Tree

 This tree holds a lot of memories.

Standing in the front yard of

my dad's house,

this tree has had

many climbers

from several generations.

 My grandparents had their original house

on this property.

They raised 7 boys and 2 girls

here.

Then those children grew and had children,

who came and climbed this tree.

Now,
grandchildren are having children

who are climbing the tree.

Soon, 

the great-grandchildren

will be climbing the tree

and so on and so on.

(She'll be climbing soon, I'm sure!)

Who would have thought

that a tree

would hold

so many memories?
